Every chess set has the same weakness: thirty-two pieces and nowhere to put them. This one solves it in walnut - a full luxury set with storage built into the board itself, so the pieces live where the game does.

The board is crafted in walnut, warm-grained and finished smooth, at 39 × 39 cm - generous enough for the 9.2 cm king to command the position, compact enough to stay out on the table between games.

The pieces come in beige and black, crafted from metal and polyester - balanced in the hand, with sculpted profiles that read clearly from across the board.

When the game ends, slide every piece into the built-in storage compartments and the whole set closes into one clean object. Nothing to box up, nothing to lose, ready for the shelf or the next match.

This is the set to mark something. Add an engraved plate or a back of the board engraving with a name, a date, or a dedication, and it becomes a wedding gift, a retirement piece, an heirloom.
